Thank you for your intereset in our second pilot research project.

In competing the form below, I am consenting for me and for my child to participate in the Play Roly Pilot Research Project Fall 2022/Winter 2023, led by Dr. Linda Siegel.

I understand there is no payment for participation.

I understand that the daily videos of myself and my child doing the Play Roly program will be viewed by this project’s research team as well as with other research labs who care considering this format for a larger scale project. The videos will only be used for research purposes – your data and video will not otherwise be shared unless you complete a separate consent form.

My five-year old) daughter read me her first book the other day! Play Roly was a huge help to her. She could remember letter sounds easily, but she struggled to blend them together. Now when she gets stuck on a word, she will sing the word, as if playing with Roly, to figure it out. I also have a three-year-old daughter. I found it's a great game to do with the kids together, as they both enjoy singing the song and playing the game.
